Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

TradesLog is developed in the United States of America and operated by CaibneTik Apps, a trade name of an individual developer based in Arizona, USA. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data You Create (Stored Locally on Your Device)

All trading data you enter in TradesLog — including trades, accounts, strategies, plans, and monthly targets — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. This data is:

• Never transmitted to CaibneTik Apps servers
• Never accessible to CaibneTik Apps at any time
• Never shared with third parties
• Under your full control at all times

CaibneTik Apps has no technical ability to access, read, or recover your locally stored trading data under any circumstances.

2.2 License Data (Google Cloud — Limited)

If you activate a Pro license using a license code, the app uses Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In to link your license to your Google or Apple account. We collect and store only the minimum data necessary for license verification:

• Your Google or Apple account UID (an opaque identifier assigned by Google or Apple)
• Your email address
• License status and activation timestamp

This information is stored in Google Cloud. Physical security, encryption at rest, and network-level protection are provided entirely by Google's infrastructure. This data is used solely to verify and manage your license. Your email address may only be used, if necessary, to contact you regarding your license, service maintenance, important updates, or issues that may affect its functionality. It is never used for advertising, marketing campaigns, profiling, analytics, or shared with any third parties other than Google as the infrastructure provider.

You can delete your personal license information at any time directly from the app by going to Settings → License / Subscription → Delete My Information (this option is only available if you have previously activated a license). After deletion, we retain only a minimal, anonymized record of the license—without your email address, account UID, or any other personal information—solely for license validation, support, and fraud prevention purposes.

2.3 Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase (Pro Subscription)

If you subscribe to TradesLog Pro through Google Play or App Store, the purchase is handled entirely by Google LLC or Apple. TradesLog receives only a confirmation token indicating a valid active subscription. We do not receive, store, or process your payment card number, billing address, or any other payment information. Google and Apple's privacy policy governs all payment processing.

2.4 Google Drive or iCloud (Optional Backup)

If you enable Google Drive or iCloud backup, the app requests access to the corresponding infrastructure to secure storage your backup files. We store:

• An AES-256 encrypted backup files of your trading data, encrypted on your device before upload

CaibneTik Apps cannot access, read, or decrypt your backup files at any time. The encryption key is derived from a recovery key that only you possess. If you lose your recovery key, your backup cannot be decrypted by anyone, including CaibneTik Apps.

2.5 Device Biometrics

If you enable biometric lock (fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN), authentication is handled entirely by the Android or iOS operating system and the device's secure hardware enclave. TradesLog never accesses, stores, transmits, or has any visibility into your biometric data.

2.6 Logo.dev (Ticker Logos)

The app displays company logos for tickers using the Logo.dev API. When a ticker logo is requested, the ticker symbol is sent to Logo.dev's servers. TradesLog does not control Logo.dev's data practices. For more information, see logo.dev/privacy.

2.7 Data We Do NOT Collect

• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking of any kind
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA, GAID/AAID)
• Crash reports or diagnostics beyond what Google Play collects by default from all Android apps
• Location data
• Device contacts, camera, or microphone
• IP addresses (beyond what Google's infrastructure logs as part of API calls)
• Any trading data entered into the app

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect solely to:

• Verify and maintain your Pro license status
• Respond to support requests sent directly to us via email

We do not use your information for any marketing, advertising, profiling, or analytics purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Google LLC: As the provider of Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Google Drive API, and Google Play Billing, Google receives data as described in Sections 2.2–2.4 above. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Legal compliance: If required by applicable federal or state law, valid court order, subpoena, or other legal process. We will notify you of such requests to the extent permitted by law.
• Protection of rights: If we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of CaibneTik Apps, our users, or others.

5. Third-Party Services

TradesLog relies on the following third-party services. Their privacy policies govern their respective data practices, and CaibneTik Apps is not responsible for their conduct:

• Firebase Authentication — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Google Services — policies.google.com/privacy
• Logo.dev — logo.dev/privacy

Limited Use. TradesLog's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the license verification and encrypted backup features described above, or as required by law.

6. Data Retention

• Local trading data: Retained on your device until you uninstall the app or manually delete it. CaibneTik Apps has no ability to access or delete this data.
• License data: Your personal license data (account UID and email) is retained only to verify your license. You can delete it at any time from within the app (Settings → License / Subscription → Delete my information) or by contacting us, and it is removed immediately. After deletion, we keep only a minimal, anonymized license record — with no personal data — retained for support and fraud prevention.
• Drive backup files: Retained in your personal Google Drive until you disconnect Google Drive from within the app or delete the files directly from your Drive.
• If we discontinue the app: We will provide at least 30 days notice and delete all license data within 60 days of discontinuation.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (limited to license data, as we have no access to your local trading data)
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Delete your personal license data at any time from within the app (Settings → License / Subscription → Delete my information), or request deletion by contacting us. A minimal, anonymized license record with no personal data may be retained for support and fraud prevention.
• Withdraw consent: Disconnect Google Drive or revoke Google Sign-In at any time from within the app

8. Security and Security Incidents

CaibneTik Apps takes reasonable measures to protect the limited personal data we handle, including:

• AES-256 encryption for all backup files, encrypted on-device before transmission
• Android Keystore integration for cryptographic key management
• Firebase App Check with Play Integrity to protect API access from unauthorized clients
• HTTPS/TLS for all network communications

The data stored in Google Cloud (license data) is secured by Google's infrastructure, including encryption at rest and in transit. CaibneTik Apps relies on Google's security practices for this data and does not maintain independent servers.

Security incidents: In the event of a security breach affecting your personal data held in Google Cloud, we will notify affected users by email within a reasonable time, and no later than as required by applicable law. Notification will describe the nature of the incident, the data affected, and steps being taken. Because your trading data never leaves your device, a breach of our systems cannot expose your trading records.

9. Age Requirement

TradesLog is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete such information promptly.

10. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. CaibneTik Apps does not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at [email protected].

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide in-app notice. Continued use of TradesLog after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
